CBN, Banks task to intensity effort in driving financial inclusion








Stakeholders at the Chris Ogunbanjo Foundation and Cranium One have tasked the Central Bank of Nigeria and the financial institutions in the country to intensify effort in the quest to achieve vision 2020 target on financial inclusion.
The event, themed ‘’Financial Inclusion and the next generation’’ unfold the importance of financial inclusion and the need to boost its penetration in the grassroots areas.
The Managing Partner, Prospera Consulting, Modupe Ladipo urged banks and the CBN to conduct research to determine the needs of customers in order to capture them financially.
He said, ‘’Nigerian banks should research on the needs to their customers; regulate their policies and requirements to accommodate them into the financial system.’
